The desert is an archetypal landscape. In this work a wall surrounds it, that blocks out the horizon. There is an empty space upfront, but there are several hiding places for possible enemies. It’s dangerously quiet. There is no water in the desert, and no sign of organic life. The sky has an artificial yellow colour, it is questionable weather this is the atmosphere of Tellus. In front, the control room of an unknown vessel, its purpose is not known.
On a screen we see something resembling a head, could that be someone outside? The control room is empty and abandoned, what happened? The work measures 1,5 x 3,9 meters and was made in 2012.
