Norwegian Textile Artists has initiated a Residency for Artists that work textile-related.
I am one of four very lucky artists getting the opportunity to develop new work at the beautiful and spacious studios at Søndre Green farm. I am spending four weeks here sketching, dyeing yarn, testing out ideas, reading about Hannah Ryggen, preparing exhibitions etc. Also grateful for the opportunities for out doors activities, day trips, hikes, rowing, swimming, etc. and super smart colleagues to learn from and discuss with.
