I am working on a new series of tapestries called Surveillance. I’m intrigued by surveillance footage and have been collecting images from the internett. The camera angle, light and shadows makes a special ambience. Mysterious things are happening when we are not watching, but the camera is on and the action can be seen in a screen in other places. People in the images are looking suspicious whatever they do.
This series will be on show next year at Kunstbanken Hamar. The project has received financial support from the government.
