New Public Art Project in progress.
This is for Søndeled Primary School in Risør Norway. The title is “Kraftfelt” in Norwegian and I find it is quite hard to translate. Perhaps “Power field” or “Force field”? The work will hopefully give some mental power and energy to both teachers and pupils at the school.
The wall it is made for is in a staircase by a large window, and I hope it will be cool to see it from the outside of the building. The “Power” inside the capsule has the colors of fire but the shapes of electricity. (The capsule itself will get a touch of Steam Punk i hope;)
The finished work will be about 260 cm high and 90cm wide, so you can easily imagine yourself to get inside it and experience the unknown effects of the power.
