Spring Exhibition is one of the most important open submission exhibitions in Europe, and has been held annually in Copenhagen since 1857.
The 2013 exhibition features 74 Danish and international artists. The exhibited works cover a wide variety of genres associated with art, architecture and design.
For the Spring Exhibition 2013 there were 669 applicants. From the selected artists 34 come from Denmark, 17 from the rest of the Nordic region, 9 from other European countries, and 14 from other countries around the world.
The jury for the Spring Exhibition 2013 consisted of the artist Marie Kølbæk Iversen (DK), the designer Louise Campbell (DK), the artist and architect Markus Degerman (SE) and the curator Kari Kivinen (FI).
